Small Pool Build - Brisbane, Australia [emoji1037]

Ok well that was easy lol.

I actually can’t even really tell that it’s on it is so quiet!! No longer sounds like a plane about to take off. Sorry neighbours!

Too late in the morning to run my OCLT now. Distracted by kids and all their demands [emoji31]

Excellent :)

Now you can tell your neighbors that your PB was amazing at building a pool, but Costas from Adelaide knows best how to operate it! (possibly while handing over a nice bottle of chardie, haha

Liz we all know where your PB's strength is........You need to offer your services for the equipment side of things! Of course you will have to pay these two a % of what you earn LOL

Are you going to keep using the auto acid thingy?

Oh yes! They know how to build a good pool. I just sent them a very to the point email suggesting that they conduct startup and handover themselves rather than outsourcing. The pb actually does know their stuff so why they choose to outsource is beyond me. Likely a time issue. Will wait for response.

Sometimes PB's just dont play with the equipment side of things enough to get a good handle on how it operates. Their main mission is 'construction' and their job is to build a pool.... everything else is just a side-line and they don't bother to delve into the electrics side (commonly known as the Dark side) of things too deeply.

The operating manuals can also be a bit of a let down as well.

Took me 2 days just to get my lights working off WiFi and my phone simply because the manual was not clear.

The sad thing is my pb is quite up with all the latest tech and how it works. They for whatever reason get someone else in the start it all up and hand it over. It’s beyond me as to why?

I remember you saying about the trouble you had setting up the wifi for the lights. I think I will leave that until last. Remote is alright just very twitchy. Clearer instructions all round from the manufacturers would definitely be helpful.

My daughter thinks that the multi colour flashing mode is so cool - I watched it for 30 secs and it almost made me nauseous....:pukel:

Yeah, I’m not a fan of it either but the kids and Jeff like it so... not really lol. I like the light blue. I don’t mind the green either but right now I think at a quick glance I might run out and dump 5 litres of chlorine in out of sheer panic!

Liz!!! Your water looks great in that pic! WOW!

I sit and watch Lil' Kim all of the time. The cats like to watch her also until she reverses right in front of them and rolls the top of the water LOL

I am glad you are getting the hang of the equipment and such. Makes life much easier!

Thanks Kim! Yes, it’s looking so much better the past day or so. I think running the pump on low and also making sure Jeff is always clean has helped a lot. Will see how it goes. Hard to get a good day time photo as it’s always late and lots of reflection from the surroundings.

Lol at your cats! My dogs watch intently through the glass. They take a step back when he comes up to the waterline and swooshes water out the top of him.

I love that you leave the lights on for your robot. We have a robot vacuum and definitely talk about "her" like she's a pet. Pool looks amazing. So glad the kiddos are having fun.

Thanks Leigh. First day of winter tomorrow and unfortunately the weather is right track. Will see if they still want to swim. The robots are quite endearing for an electrical product lol.
