Hi, all.
We've been dealing with two issues that I think are complimenting each other. First, I believe one of the laterals in the sand filter has a tiny crack. That's allowing a very fine layer of sand to layout around the pool over time. Second, we have a lot of trees around the pool. We usually keep a solar cover on it, but leaves and pine straw will sometimes make their way into the pool. These two things together add up to a very light "film" on the vinyl liner that is more pronounced at any creases or corners. The pool looks great after a good brushing with the vacuum head, but it will slowly return to that dingy after a week or so.
I took a sample up to the pool supply store just to see what their recommendations were. I have a good test kit as well and checked their results against mine. Below is what was measured.
As you can see, there are some differences (per expectations). My question to this group is this. Is there something obvious in my (or the store's) test results that points to something I should address first?
