What’s causing this? Happens when I add water or when we slash around. They fade away slowly. But curious on the cause and maybe how to address it.

Happens mostly in spas, but can happen in a pool. Like mine.

If your CH is low, raising it to 150, it will stop foaming.

2days ago the cal measured 450. Would you still recommend raising it?

What kind of bleach are you using ? Most of the household ones have polymers that will cause similar and/or cloudiness after repeated use. The Bjs/Costco/Sam's 3 packs of chlorox have 'color max technology' and I wince each week when I pass 10 shopping carts full of them while grocery shopping during pool season. The ones from the grocery store are splashless or scented or have their own technologies.

I used ones from a local (Menards) hardware store. It’s labeled pool shock and noted 12.5%
