Slit in floor bottom. To winterize or not to winterize.

Hi, first year above ground pool owner. The pool is 15 x 30 and I have a slit in the bottom that I have been unable to patch with waterproof adhesive and have attempted several times.

My question is do I close the pool as is, or will it compromised underneath the liner meaning the sand floor?

Or, should I go another route in trying to get a different kind of patch for that one slit then close the pool?

Or lastly, empty the pool liner refill the pool, winterize it for the winter now?

Your help and feedback is greatly appreciated.

You need to get that fixed to over winter the pool with water otherwise there may not be a pool next season.

There are pool leak repair services that utilize scuba gear to repair the pool leaks that you cannot do yourself. I would advise you to get it repaired before you close the pool. An above ground pool needs to have water in it to keep the walls upright right and stable. If that pool drains and you have a cover on that fills up with rain or snow and ice, it will collapse.
