Slimy red substance

Past couple of days I’ve noticed a slimy reddish substance along the bottom edge of pool. When I brush it off it floats around and eventually settle on bottom of pool. Any suggestions on what this might be and and to remedy it?
The PH and chlorine levels are good.

Ugh. I use a simple test kit with the yellow and red liquids for years. I’ve been thinking of getting test strips. Id need a breakdown of those abbreviations lol.

Don't waste your time or money on test strips.
They are inaccurate and unreliable.
