when i started the slamming process MY ph was at 7.6 but i did not check anything else until two days after starting slam and i had to add baking soda and stabiler while slamming,so I am thinking PH could be low at this point and that is why water is cloudy.Am I on right track

Right now

Are you using the TF100 you ordered? If so modify your signature.

pH test is not accurate with FC above 10. It would be best to let your FC go to 9 and then test your pH. Use PoolMath to determine how much acid to use to drop it to 7.2. Be sure a recent TA test is inputted into PoolMath for the calculation.

The first thing to achieve in a SLAM is crystal clear water. So once you have that, then run a OCLT.

I would suggest adding 10 ppm of CYA to get to 30. Helps protect your chlorine during the daylight hours.

Take care.

My son told me later in the day on the 25th he added more chlorine without notifying me and that made the fc really high was at 24.So i have been just running filter 24 hours a day, cleaning filters regularly and brushing the sides, checking FC and it went down and now my raedings are as follow still cloudy water

FC---15

TA---90

CH--- the sample only turns from red to clear(I think it is way to high and that is why I am not getting reading)

cya---30

cc---.5

I am using the 100 test kit however do not know how to change my signature

I have never heard of the CH test going clear. I have up to 1000 ppm CH in our water before we drain and I get purple to blue, but not clear.

Go to Settings (upper right) then Edit Signature (left side).
