What's the CYA level and the shock level?

If both are low, and the pool is really green, it shouldn't take long for the FC to drop below 10. When it does, test pH and TA and deal with it.

If CYA and shock level are high and the water is just murky and already to the grey stage, deal with it afterwards. You don't want to lose momentum.
