Hey Mr. Texas Splash, thanks for sharing all your wisdom and experience with all of us. Especially for us newbies! I have been battling mustard algae for several weeks. I think it was here at TFP's I read about a product called Yellow Gone from a member who used it after he was fed up trying just chlorine. I bought some. Installed the measure amount as required; waited 5 minutes and put in the amount of shock required. 12 hours later I added the shock again as instruction stated. We siphoned out to waste via a garden hose the white fluffy stuff when the chlorine levels came back down, just before doing the third and final shock. Then did the final shock, cleaned pool tools, and toys with chlorine, and are currently waiting the 12 hours again. But since this was our "last" shock according to Yellow Gone, and the white cloudy dead stuff is already forming again. What should we do next? Thanks for any help!

Start by getting your own kit to test your water. Link-->Test Kits Compared
Add 3ppm of liquid chlorine per day until the test kit arrives. Download pool math and use it to determine how much chlorine will raise your pool by 3ppm. Link-->PoolMath
When you kit arrives, post a full set of results, and start the SLAM process to clear your pool. Link-->SLAM Process
