Pool isn't open yet (plugs still in, no pump, etc.). Took a peek under the cover a week ago and it was clear as a bell and cold, still with some ice. Today it is just starting to cloud up, so I'm wondering if I can hit it with something to hold off the funk until I can get the pool service to come and open. Can I hit it with liquid bleach or other treatment before the pump is circulating? Or am I just going to have to deal with whatever is there when the pump is fired up? Thanks.

Only way you can add chemicals is if you can circulate it. If you can brush the pool after adding bleach, that would be fine.
