SLAM Chlorine/CYA level with SWG

Hello,

I'm trying to understand the Chlorine/CYA levels that are recommended when SLAMing a SWG pool. Per the SLAM guide, it is ideal to SLAM at 30-50 CYA level, where as with SWG, the minimum CYA recommended is 70. So is the recommendation to maintain CYA at 70 and Chlorine at 28 to SLAM a SWG Pool?

Correct. If those of us with salt pools are flying along just fine then all of a sudden get algae, we are forced to use a higher SLAM FC level per the FC/CYA Levels.

To be clear, the recommendation is NOT to raise CYA in order to SLAM with a CYA. You want your CYA to be at least 30, but as low as possible, SWG or not.
