Skimmer hose

I have a Pentair paraskim v skimmer on my new pool. Can anyone tell me what size hose I can use to manually vacuum my pool. I call Pentair and tell told me 2”.

I am am having a hard time finding a 2” hose, only 1 1/2”.

Can anyone one confirm the size of the hose if they have this skimmer. I don’t want to buy a hose that doesn’t work.

I did some looking at that skimmer. I don't see how you would connect the hose unless you use something like this:

For me the hard part is making sure to not to lose the water prime in the hose. What I do is fill the hose up with water then do a quick move of putting the plate into the skimmer from the top and the hose on the end as quick as I can. It took some doing to find the motion but now I have it down.
