Skimmer drain pipe

We just discovered this drain pipe on the abck of the skimmer. It is clogged, we can inclog it. Going forward what do we do with this pipe? Just have it slope away and down to drain directly into the ground?

That's from the skimmer that collects debris from the surface of your water?? Hmmmmm? I would have thought a pipe like that would be a backwash pipe or something off your equipment pad?

Can we see a bigger pic of the entire pool, and one of your equipment pad?

It's probably an overflow pipe and should discharge into a dry well or something.

Yeah, that’s an overflow discharge line. As Rich said, it should be flowing into a dry well, but you could always extend it to drain out somewhere.
