Sinking Legs on Intex Ultra-Frame

Hi All,

Second year of owning my pool and got it set up and filled almost 3 weeks ago. At that time the dirt was hard and last year I didn't have any issues. This year we have gotten almost 2 weeks of rain and my hard dirt has gone soft...giggity...anyways 2 of my legs are sinking and it's pretty bad. Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation WITHOUT having to drain my pool? I'm trying to avoid that if possible. I've attached a picture. Thanks!

What is under them? Is that a piece of the material used for the leg strap?

It will take some major engineering to get something under them without draining the water. I don't think I would even try it as I am a scaredy cat when it comes to things like that.

I dont think you will be able to prop up that much weight in that small of an area without damaging the frame. Yes losing the water is a pain BUT losing the frame would be way more costly.. Not worth the risk if you ask me..

I had similar problem. My intex frame had these t shaped legs, welded stubby horizontal tubes on top of the vertical leg. If yours is similar this may work: I pulled a rolling floor Jack (for automotive service) up to the pool, and cut a pc of 2x4 to stand on the Jack and extend up under the welded horizontal stubby tube on one side. Once I jacked it up, I slid in a paver. Good luck.

Hey, that's what I did, used a floor jack and 2x4, just go slow.

When i still had my intex pool two of my legs rusted out and dropped about 4 inches. I used a car jack 3.5 ton and a 4x4 to left up the pool while filled with water. I put the jack in a wide wood base to distribute the weight and the 4x4 to the top rail. Every few inches I would place another 4x4 under the top rail in case something would give out. It is doable but it is dangerous and could technically rip your liner.
