How far away should I be from the gas heater when planting shrubs? I was looking to put these around here. Is there enough space if I keep them trimmed?

I would keep plants 2-3 feet away from the heater to leave clearance to work around it and disassemble it for repair. You or your repairman will thank you instead of cursing you as they move around the heater.

They do but they are minimal and inadequate to really work around the heater. Why create more difficulty then necessary?
