Shallow end return jets

Hello,
It appears that my return jets in my shallow end is stronger than any of the other jets in my pool. Is it normal for the water pressure out of the jet to be stronger than the others?

How shallow is the area? That can make the jets look stronger. Also, if the jets are closer to the pump, that can make the jets stronger.

Are there any control valves on the equipment pad for the return lines?
