Sfx330 Timer flashing

I've got a summer waves above ground with a sfx330 pump. The gfci plug has a built-in timer. Recently the gfci kept tripping. Shaking it you could hear water inside, so I take the back off the bottom part of the plug and get the water out. When I put the cover back on, the timer just flashes and the reset button on the gfci does nothing. Google isn't being very helpful. I'd rather not have to replace the gfci plug since it has the built-in timer and I can't find a replacement that has that feature

Anytime an electrical product has been flooded or filled with water it is no longer safe to use, especially when you mix it with people in a pool setting. It needs to be replaced.
