I have an Easytouch with a screenlogic protocol adaptor. I'd like to set it up so:

1. When the P button is pressed on the easy touch, the pool heater runs and the inteliflo amps up to 3000 RPM so guests/my wife have an easy way to turn the heat on and off (impossible with my goals?)
2. Forgetting the P button thing, how can I schedule the pump to run without heat for 6-12 hours per day WHILE using the chlorinator at 2000k RPM WHILE still allowing a separate schedule for heating at 3000k RPM.

The issues:
1. The chlorinator only runs when the pool circuit is on, not an Aux or Feature circuit
2. Heat settings can only be selected from the Pool Circuit and Spa circuits, not any others

The fact that the chlorinator is only powered through the pool circuit and scheduling heating can only be through the pool circuit and that you can't alter pump speed with scheduling make this way more complicated than it needs to be. Or maybe I'm making it more complicated lol.

Set circuit Pool Heater or Heater to the speed you want when the heater is running.

Now what else do you want to do?

Guy,

The SWCG MUST be controlled by the Pump/Filter relay.. It is a safety requirement.. This relay will only close if you are in the Pool mode or the Spa mode. It will work in both modes... You can set the output % for the pool mode and a different output% for the spa modes..

If you want, in addition to the pump/filter relay you can also wire the power to the SWCG through an Aux relay.. You can't use a Feature Circuit as they have no relays.

You can make the pump run any speed you want, at any time and you do not have to be in the Pool mode or spa mode.. All you need to do is assign a speed to the circuit you want to run.

I think the problem is you and not the system...

I am not sure I fully understand what it is that you want to do..

The EasyTouch does not really have the ability to lump everything together into one button operation.

When you "Push the P button" (I assume P for Pool mode), the pump will run at whatever speed is assigned to the Pool Circuit.

If you want the heater to run, you need to push the heat button and then set the temperature you want..

Please tell me what you are using to control the EasyTouch/ScreenLogic.. Where is this 'P' button? Are you using a phone, PC, or just the buttons on the main panel?

Maybe we can come up with a plan to make things work better for you.

Thanks,

Jim R.
