That's lovely news, Richard. I see a vac session in your imminent future.
I'm hoping by next weekend you're posting pics of actually SWIMMING in that wiley pool![]()
Psi 21.5 this am
Richard, that is starting to look a lot better! Fantastic
Thank you for posting your PSI twice so far, great job! Did you happen to check the clean psi or will you have to get that after the next backwash? I'd suggest a backwash at 25psi this time round, assuming that is below the manufacturer max, and assuming you don't feel a substantial reduction of flow strength at the return jet before then. If 21.5 was your clean psi, then you can let it go until 26.5 or so, again assuming flow is still strong and it is under manufacturer max.
Have you added any DE since the new filter was installed? You don't have to, just curious.
It is blue! I was also wondering about the DE. I'd be inclined to let it go another day or two without & see how the new filter does at clearing it up. Curious what SwampWoman thinks.
Summary of last 5 FC posts...
FC Time Day
16 8:15pm 27th
16 6am 28th (passed OCLT IF last test was after last add circulated)
18 8:30am 28th
15.5 10am 28th
15 11:30am 28th
My concern:
This daytime loss looks excessive compared to a potentially passed OCLT...
Thought: lots of recent water exchange might have your CYA way down, please retest when sunny out.
Also: If you don't mind, posting how much bleach and % you're adding for a few posts.

That's the color changed I've been looking for! You're still going to need the patience you've been channeling to finish this SLAM completely, but you should see results a little more each day, now, hopefully!
I see some trees... Does your pool get lots of shade throughout the day? Or most of the day blasted by full sun?
