I bought a solid cover (tarp style) as well as a leaf net. I wanted to try the leaf net this year to see if it keeps the solid tarp cover cleaner. I was thinking that I could remove the leaf net occasionally to remove all the leaves. Both the tarp cover and leaf net have loops for water bags. The tarp cover will lay onto of the pool water, but for the leaf net, I was hoping to suspend it a little higher (flush with the edge of the pool), will this work? Do I need two sets of water bags (one for the tarp and one for the net)?
Separate water bags for leaf net and solid cover?

Perhaps just lay the leaf net on top & secure it to the cover with clips.
I use big binder clips.
The leaf net really doesn’t need much securing since it’s not like a sail like a solid cover is & the clips make it easy to remove & replace without disturbing the regular cover.
