Secomdary pump and filter for vacuum

Why not just vacuum through your filter? I cannot see the justification for the additional expense of a motor/filter just to vacuum.

just didnt want to load my filter up with at that junk

That is understandable! What a couple of members are trying (myself included) is vacuuming with pump on Recirculate and having a "filter catch bag" over the returns (obviously this works best if you only have 1 return or catch bags on all the returns), this bypasses the sand media AND saves water!)
You can see some more info in this topic (starting on pg8)

Ordering is the best price =) If you have nearby large equipment parts facility, you COULD possibly find one there, but you might end up over paying.

i do have one return that i can put a hairnet over. im going to try that and see how much dirt it collects while vacuuming on recirculation.
I would recommend a doubled-up athletic sock hose clamped to an elbow in the return. It will be stronger and catch a little more then the hairnet will.
