Seasonal Pool - Liner storage, baby powder alternative?

So bought a Bestway 18x9 oval pool last year, when we took it down last year, I sprinkled baby powder on it to keep it from sticking to itself while in storage.

That worked, it didn't stick to itself. But turns out that baby powder isn't water soluble and is to fine for my sand (Zeolite) filter to collect. Ended up vacuuming to waste to get rid of it. Along with scrubbing down the sides above the water line.

I'd rather not have to deal with that mess again.

Are there alternatives? Or any other advice? Perhaps I went overboard with the baby powder?

Thank you!
Charles

Let it air dry really good then use baking soda. The baking soda is fine enough to help keep the liner from sticking and it's hydroscopic so it will absorb water. Best of all, anything left over will dissolve once you fill the pool and you can neutralize it with muriatic acid (baking soda just raises TA).
