search function - what am I doing wrong?

I wanted to search on the term "pool covers". When I enter that term or its variants, I am taken out of the forum to various sites on the net. I want to restrict my search to the forum, and I have to believe there would be at least several threads on this topic.

What am I doing wrong?

Well that is not good! I wonder what is up with that. When I did a search this morning what I did was type bucket test in the light blue box with the word search in it. The only hits I got was from TFP. I also did the same thing using pool cover and it stayed inside TFP. I then clicked enter.

Take me through what you did click by click to see if we can find the error.

I do my searches as follows:
- Click the search feature above > click ADVANCED > Click SEARCH THREADS > enter my key words to be searched > Click SEARCH

Once the reslts are displayed, I click the Google Search tab.

Thanks... I have been to Advanced Search many, many times and I never even saw the line that lets you select threads etc... Perfect!!
