I have determined I have a leak and started looking harder at the skimmers..I can't get a great view but can feel a gap between the plastic skimmer and the grout..In fact I can wiggle the plastic some which tells me it maybe leaking.
Now my question is whats the best way to seal it..Going to be hard to anything in there but my fingers so hoping for something that is self leveling and will get down inside and bond like gorilla glue :) It even expands when damp
Any suggestions? Not in an area I am too concerned about look in.

Once i got the water level down and could look in the skimmer toward the pool I have no doubt it was leaking. Fairly wide gap between plastic skimmer edge and grout all the way accross. I think the wetweld will work, rolled it up and smashed in it as hard as i could then smoothed the top.
Thanks for the suggestion on this putty!

Because my CYA is high i went ahead and dropped it almost 18” also :)
