I don't come here often, but I have lost my wireless connection to control my pool. I can log in to the app remotely, but none of the info populates and I cannot control anything. I have tried resetting and the basic fixes. Any other ideas?

Can you let us know how your system is set up? Is your protocol adapter hard wired to the automation (what automation?)? Or do you have the 900 mHz radio connection? What lights are showing on the protocol adapter?

First, I apologize for my knowledge of all things pool related. I know very little. Here is how it is set up to my knowledge. The little white box is connected to my router with an ethernet. From the white box is a white wire with 4 smaller wires that go into a clip. That clips onto a squarish plastic thing with 3 lights on the front. Then there is the antenna outside that clips on the circuit board in my control cabinet. I am sure all of the terms are wrong, but hopefully, that answers your question.

If the protocol adapter in the squarish thing with the 3 lights, only the power light is lit up. Thanks.

ETA: It is Pentair screenlogic2.

ETA: I hear there is an upgrade to intellicenter I believe it is called. I am not completely opposed to going that route if it is vastly superior.

The protocol adapter (PA) is the little white box. The squarish plastic thing with 3 lights is the wireless transceiver (indoor). The antenna outside is your Outdoor wireless transceiver. The only thing the 2 wireless transceivers do is create a wireless link to the PA - instead of running a long 4 conductor cable between the outdoor Easytouch/Intellitouch and the PA . The PA is really what does all the translating (so to speak) from your Easytouch/Intellitouch to your ethernet router.

Since you can log in with the app but none of the info populates, we know your PA is connecting to the network but not getting data from your outdoor controller.

Check the small color wires between the indoor transceiver and the protocol adapter and make sure none are loose or have broken off.

Next thing to check is outside. Take the cover off the outdoor transceiver and see if the green power light is on.

If you can run a 4 conductor wire from your outdoor controller to the PA that would eliminate the wireless connection, which is tricky to troubleshoot sometimes.

Intellicenter is nice but requires a Cat5 cable from your equipment location or the wireless connection kit which is almost identical to the ScreenLogic wireless connection.

IntelliCenter does not use the Protocol Adapter or Screenlogic. It has a more reliable network connection using the Pentair HOME app.
