I am seeing alerts on my ScreenLogic IPhone app for wireless connectivity to my pool equipment.

Pump1: Power Outage Alarm
Pump1: Communication Lost

I have an Intellipro VSF pump and the message only appears in between schedule times when pump is not running.

Welcome too TFP.

A VS pump should get continuous power.

Your pump is probably powered from the load side of the filter pump relay. The pump power is being lost when the pump is stopped.

The wires for the pump power need to be moved from the LOAD screws to the LINE screws of the filter pump relay.

Show us pictures of the EasyTouch with the front panel removed showing the wiring.

This is your filter pump relay...

  • Screw 1 - LINE hot wires
    • Black wire from CB
    • Black wire from EasyTouch transformer
  • Screw 2 - LOAD switched wires
    • Black wire from pump
    • White wire from SWG transformer
  • Screw 3
    • Red wire from CB
    • Yellow wire from EasyTouch transformer
  • Screw 4
    • Red wire from pump
    • Yellow wire from SWG transformer

The black and red wires from the pump need to be moved from 2 to 1 and 4 to 3.

However you can only have two wires under one screw.

Thus you need to use wire nuts or WAGO connectors to connect the three wires together with a pig tail and then connect the pigtails to screws 1 and 3.

Thanks so much for your very detailed response!
