Screen Logic 2.180

I have downloaded and ran the installer. The Installer completes but my version still shows 2.160, I have to be missing a step or something. Anyone have any idea?

2.180 sounds like an Easytouch Firmware, not a screenlogic one. What exactly did you download, what automation system do you have and what are you trying to update?

Jason,

As Tom has said, the 2.160 is the F/W inside the EasyTouch. This has nothing to do with ScreenLogic.

You can't update the F/W in the EasyTouch without the proper equipment and you have to be connected to the main board.

no problems with it currently, but with my other electronics i have always updated the firmware to the most current just from habit to stay current i guess.

i usually only recommend an update if a new release has a feature you need - like a new vsf pump or i dunno, setting the date past the year 2020 (for the intellitouch). otherwise it's just expensive and time consuming
