Schedule Different Pump Speeds - Pentair Inteliflo and Pentair Screenlogic Connect

My pool pump is the Pentair Inteliflo various speed pump, which comes with a keypad/LCD for settings. The keypad is now "inactive", instead I use Pentair Screenlogic Connect on my iphone (which is hooked up to the power center that controls everything including the pump).

The photo attached is the pump speeds I see inside the Pentair Screenlogic Connect app. I can modify the pump speed here.

But I can't find anywhere in the app that allows me to schedule the pump to run, for example, at 2800 rpm from 8am to 5pm, and then run at a different speed of 1000 rpm from 5pm to next morning.

Can this be done only on the pump's key pad? If so, will the pump speed settings in the app on my iphone overwrite that?

Thanks!

Blue,

ScreenLogic needs two apps when using your phone.. You also need ScreenLogic Config..

Better yet use your PC for all programming. The PC works much better.

Just to be clear, you never schedule a speed to run, you schedule the Circuit to run,, So, in your case you would schedule the Pool Circuit and it would then run at 2000 per your speed control page. If you want the pool to run at another speed, you have to make up another Circuit, such as "Skim High" and assign it a speed of say 2500.. The pump will always run at the faster speed.

Thanks,

If I want the variable speed pump to run the following schedule, how do I set the exact start and stop time so the pump does NOT stop and kick in again when switching between the two "circuits"?

1am~3pm: 2000 rpm
3pm~1am: 600 rpm

Blue,

I can't see any reason to run the pump if you are not making chlorine.

Running less than 1000 RPM is not normally too effective as most skimmers don't work well at that speed.

It appears you are running your pump 24/7.. So what you want to do is set your lowest speed to run 24 hrs (8 am to 8 am) and then set the faster speed to come on at the time you want, and shut off at the time you want.

Keep in mind that the SWCG won't run unless the Pool or Spa circuit is on..

I run my Pool circuit at 1200 RPM 8 am to 8 am.. I use 1200 because my SWCG needs about 1100 to work, so this ensures my SWCG is always on.

Then I schedule everything that runs faster at the times I want them to run..

Doing this, my pump never shuts off..

Thanks,

Jim R.
