TFP Expert team,

I had a pool installed last year....opened it in October 2020.

Obsessed with keeping my CSI balanced between +- .3
I have an interesting thing happening though....there appears to be something scale-like forming at the TOP of the tiles....and a thick/weird calcified-scale-like stuff forming at the water feature (Pictures Attached).

What might be happening?
Is this type of issue a warranty-type thing where the company needs to resolve...or something else? Not sure what to do.

Pool specs:
SWCG
Ph: 7.5 to 7.8 range
Chlorine: 5-7 range
Calcium: 300
CYA: 70
TA: 90-100
Salt: 3200

Thank you. I then read more on efflorescence in other articles and very good info.
It also sounds like this is non-warrantiable on the "sealing" of it. It's not completely around the pool...but about 25% of the tiles....annoying but will try the muriatic acid cleaning approach.

Thanks again.

To minimize any calcium buildup at the actual waterline and in your SWG ,
keep the CSI between 0 and -0.30 - so slightly negative CSI.
