Sand filter pressure high

This may not have anything to do with your pump pressure but it appears you need to correct your salt cells flow direction.
On my CP cell (identical construction) it stipulates installing the electric connection upstream of the flow direction.

So something just made me think :hammer: ........ You mentioned earlier in this thread the pressure to the filter remains the same even when the MPV is set to recirculate. That doesn't make sense as no water should be going through to the filter. :scratch: So I'm starting to wonder if your MPV (spider gasket/Key Assy) is bad? Do all other setting seem to be operating properly?

We know you used clarifier in the past which certainly could compromise the sand and cause increased pressure. That coupled with suspected algae would certainly do it. But that recirculate thing is odd.
