Salt cell replacement

TFP recommends sizing for twice the size of your pool. So for example for a pool that is 15k gallons a cell rated for 30k gallons or more is preferred. I have the ic 60 because it was a few hundred more and I was already going to do make the change.

Does anyone know if the APEX P60 is a working alternative to the IC60.
It is a direct swap, plug and play.

You are the first mention of it on TFP. Some people have scored going with generic cells, some have gotten burned. It seems more have been burned which isn't worth the risk IMO.

Such as:

How big is the pool ?
Do you have automation?

My neighbor just replaced his IC40 with an Apex P60 and said it was plug and play and working great. His IC 40 was slightly undersized for his pool so the upgrade was necessary for his pool.

22,500 Gal, Salt Water
All Pentair Equipment
Easy Touch 4, ScreenLogic

I assumed it would work with respect to chlorinating the pool. I suppose my real question is will it integrate into the automation?
