So you have the correct tool need to champher the cut edge on the PE for this fitting so you get the correct depth when you insert it?

It comes with directions on how to cut the correct depth. Only thing the chamfer tool does is round the cut edge. I did it without the tool. If you want complete confidence buy the tool as well.

I just picked up a job. A genius cut gas line with a 4” grinder. Ironically, he is still walking around, sore Mr. Darwin!!
