Running speed for 24/7 use

Can I run my pool on low speed (50%) for the entire 24 hours? I’ve been mixing low, medium and high in a 12,200 gallon pool with a variable hayward system capable of 40,000. I have figured out my heater works on low speed as well.

Just not sure this would be adequate? 50% speed 24/7. Would that be enough or do I need to have minimum time on high and/or medium?

If your heater likes it and you are happy with the water surface skimming, low speed is a good thing. Less $$$.

What percentage is your low set at?

What percentage is your low set at?

Mine is a 2-speed pump, so I just put it on low speed. I think it's about 1,750 rpm. If I had a VSP I would go ever lower, perhaps about 1,400.
