Running Pump

We have 14 by 30 pool what do you recommend settings on a pump? And run it 12 hours or 24 hours? I have it now on 900 from 6pm to 6am and 1700 from 6am to 6pm ..

How are you chlorinating? What are your skimming needs? Is this an above ground or in ground pool? Are you heating the pool?

our pool is inground, 14 by 30

we heat the pool and shock it once at the end of the week, and have 3” chlorinate puck in at all times

Your pump schedule depends on how much you need to skim, how much you need to run the heater, and how long your puck chlorinator needs flow through it to add the FC (and CYA) to your water.

We do not recommend the daily use of trichlor as they add CYA continuously and you rarely can maintain the proper FC level based on the FC/CYA Levels
