RPM changes from EasyTouch setting

I have the same issue. I have Pentair Screenlogic Pool app from 15 years ago and it has worked flawlessly. Now when I want to change the speed for the "Pool" setting it works fine. When I want to change the speed for the Cleaning setting, it changes and then reverts back 3 seconds later.

P,

Does not sound like something that ScreenLogic or the EasyTouch can do...

Are you using your PC or a phone to make changes?

Can you tell me, or show me, what you are doing? Pool vs. cleaner?? In general, all the electronics used to change "Pool" would be used to change "Cleaner" so on the surface it makes no sense, that one would work and the would not work..

Something else must be going on..

We need more info..

Thanks,

Jim R.

I am in the screen logic app on my phone. This is within the speed control portion of the app, not pool or cleaner although they are indirectly affected because the speed set in Pump section tells the pump what speed to run for each of those settings. Here is a screen recording. You can see when I change the speed of the last two, they just revert back and actually change the speed above them. When I change the speed on the Pool setting at the top, it holds, maybe because it doesn't have a setting above it, IDK. Turns out I can't attach a screen recording. but here is a screenshot I have used for many years to change speeds.

Oh, and you can change the speeds with the remote. I believe it is/was called the Mobiletouch. I still have it laying around so I tried that too to no avail.

Well the MobileTouch is packed away in the closet but plugged in. It was having spasms, flashing and telling me it didn't match and select indoor/outdoor. I unplugged, and cleared the errors and reset the speeds on the MobileTouch and they seemed to hold and show up the same on my iPhone. If they continue to hold, I will then unplug the MT and let it die (it is old and the battery dies quickly) and see if maybe it was the problem and was somehow overriding my iPhone version.

What you described is common: You only use the SL for changes to your system (Intellitouch?) and next time you connect with MobilTouch or a UIC there is a mismatch. You should "Get image from Outdoor" in this case.

Also check what SL version you are running on both the PA (SL adapter) and your devices... An older firmware on the adapter may cause this issue.

Also check your min and max speeds set on your variable speed pump (assuming VS or VSF or VST with RS485). Outside put the system in service mode. When the pump Message "Display Inactive" drops, hit pump menu button and check settings
