I guess also look at the Stenner pumps, people seem to like those as well.
the Rola-chem is pretty good. It works by running at a single speed but varying the amount of time it runs and it's based on 9 minute increments. There is a knob attached to a timer pot that has continuous settings labeled Lo-2-3-4-5-6-Hi. If, for instance, you turn it to be 4, the pump will run for about 4.5 minutes and then be off for about 4.5 minutes and so on... Because it's based on 9 minute increments, I've set my digital timer to be ON for 7 times per day for 18 minutes each, making sure each time is synched up with when the water pump will be running. I've also wired it up to be such that the water pump must be on for the Rola-Chem to get power, just for added insurance that chlorine won't be collecting at the injection point without water flow. By running 7-18minute increments, I've backed down the maximum feed rate on the chlorine to 1.05 gallons per day which is way more than I should need.
All-in-all I've been happy with the Rola-Chem solution so far. My FC range currently is 7-9ppm, and I like to play a game where I set the Rola-Chem and see how long I can go without adjusting the knob. In general if I have to set it close to the 2.5-3 setting and it'll go a 2 weeks without touching the thing.
Personally I don't see the need for an acid pump, for myself at least. pH is pretty easily controlled with appropriate corresponding TA. Every two weeks I throw in about pint of muriatic acid to get pH back down to 7.4. I've gone all summer and I just finished my first gallon of acid. To me you just don't need to stay on top of that so closely to need constant daily adjustment through the automated pump.
