Robot still picking up loose pebbles on 7 month old Wet Edge pool.

I run my Dolphin S200 about twice a week on my pool that has a Wet Edge finish.

Every time I find some pebbles in the basket. not one or two, but at least several dozen. Is this normal? I thought it should only pick up loose pebbles for a month or so when curing.

How old is your pool?

Do you see divots from where pebbles were lost?

That can happen when they are too aggressive with the acid wash and remove too much plaster around the pebbles. .

Pool is a little over 7 months old, and they did a low ph treatment about a month after water was in it to remove some bad discoloration. I don't see any divots that are noticeable in a any given spot.

A low pH treatment is an acid bath that removed plaster and left pebbles on the surface loose.

Right, I understand... but my robot is picking up pebbles 6 months after the low pH treatment - is that normal? Should I be concerned?

Nothing you can do about it now. You will just end up with more plaster finish and less pebbles. No telling how much plaster was removed and pebbles loosened.
