Results after SLAM

I am not adding anything more at this point. I test PH daily. I want to see how long it takes for it to rise now. That I have it at 60. My pump is on 12 hours a days plus my SWG runs 4-5 hours a day. I usually add a couple inches of water every 3-5 days due to splash out and evaporation. Since I will have to add water once or twice a week and my fill water TA is 280 for municipal and my well is 230 I figure having TA a bit lower that TA will raise a little with each top off.

Yea, Lisa, and personally I don't recommend taking your pH any lower than 7.2.

Your pH should be stabilizing soon.

During pool season, rain is almost always in my prayers! My only fill option has iron (well water) and I don't EVER want to add if I can help it! I have avoided filling for 2 years now even at opening. I time my backwashes to the weather forecast!

I only drop it to 7 per the instruction on lowering TA. I will keep it around 7.4- 7.6 range. Just looking for the happy medium with my TA so the PH does not rise to quick.

I am fortunate that my well has minimal metals.
