Looks like old polyethylene pipe, common for buried gas distribution..

FYI - the spark in a powered or cordless saw, can ignite the fuel in the line.

Have the line purged by a qualified person.

Professional gas line installer came out tonight and will complete the job this Saturday!

Just out of curiosity, was it costly to have that done, or not that bad? Either way I think you made a VERY wise choice bringing in the pros.

Waiting on the plumber and sub panel install. Initial quote was $6400.00 some ridiculous amount. I’m hoping for $2000.00 for new gas line and sub-panel

So I poured my concrete equipment pad with about a foot around the heater and filter for me to work around for maintenance reasons and started to dig my 16” gas line ditch. I also ordered my new 64 sq ft pentair cartridge filter and want to order my 3 way valves, 1 way valve and water spicket. Not sure if I have the correct plumbing plan so TFPC PLUBMING PROS I need your input please!
