I bought new reagents (refill kit) but what to do with the old chemicals. The refill bottles won't fit in my kit, so I'm emptying old chemicals and refilling the old bottles. How can I do this safely? I know I shouldn't mix them, so what to do?

Is the original kit the K2006 (A) or the 2006-C. The C kit has larger reagent bottles. Thus a different box to hold them. Did you purchase refill kit for the K2006 from TFtestkits?
Do not mix chemicals. Suggest you empty them and clean bottles with distilled water. Then you can use small funnel to refill.
I refill bottles all the time this way and it works for me.
However I read somewhere that the tip where the drops come out has a limited lifespan such as 3-4 refills then the drop size is affected.

Taylor says 8 refills is the max, actually, although if you're not careful you can deform the tip with one refill.

@JRzMom, maybe just find a new box to hold the reagents, so you don't have to keep doing this every time you refill. You could take a look at fishing tackle boxes, small toolboxes, sewing kits, etc. -- it shouldn't be too hard to find something that's even better than the Taylor box.

Have the one with smaller bottles. I suppose that is A. I'll keep in mind the tip issue. Maybe I should just get the kit with larger bottles. I seem to be using it a lot.

As for disposal. Is it safe to drop down the drain? I'd flush well between.

That may be a better option. Some I never use.
