Replacing pool light screws

The Pentair website has both manuals...

Ugh, so you think maybe they shipped the light with both manuals and he left me the wrong one?

Post #11 has links to the possible screws for your light.

No, I think the light came with that one manual and he knew to follow the other manual which was on the Pentair website.

Pentair packages this stuff for installers, not consumers. The installers know what they need.

The light does not come with the gasket kit for a vinyl pool. Your installer added the gasket kit and other bits he needed.

I understand what you're saying now- that makes more sense to me.

I'm going to look tomorrow to see if I can find an identifying number/model on the light somewhere before I order screws- I'll report back

You will not find anything without pulling the light out.

I just want to say I'm not trying to be contrary, I truly appreciate your help and time. The screws aren't cheap or easy to come by so I just really wanted to make sure I get the right ones, but I 100% hear what you're saying now.

Do you have any insight about whether or not it's okay to replace 1 screw at a time by hand while the light is under water- that is what the installer told us he was going to do

One at a time is fine.

I would pull one screw out and check on which length screw you have and then see how easily it goes back in.
