My old light sockets are eroded and pretty much shot.
Is my only option to pull the light and cable out and replace them?
If so what the best affordable options? Probably going to sell the house in the next 2 years. I can do wiring so not against converting to 12v

Should add it’s only about 25’ from breaker box and switch but have no clue how easy it is to pull it out

Yes, the only working option is to replace the fixtures. There should be a junction box somewhere between the switch and the light. It would normally be about a foot above ground and look like the picture.
There are many YouTube videos on how to pull a new light. Would be less expensive (still not "cheap") to just get what appear to be Pentair Amerilite fixtures rather than new fixtures and a transformer.

Thanks I sent inyo an email because I see a couple ones and I’m not sure what the difference is. But I see the junction box it’s only about 25 feet from my light

Looking for suggestions for a smart type switch to feed both lights. I have enough cable left to mount a new water proof box beside the breaker box so looking for suggestions.
I will most likely feed them off one wire and not leave them separate.

Mainly want to be able to set a timer and change it on my phones like I do indoor lights.
Plan B is using the old mechanical timer.

Have both light cables pulled through..Was one job that made me nervous, worrying the string would break or get stuck.
But it came through pretty easy, I watched a video and used Dawn soap and even did it by myself.
