Removing cement from water?

Here is a thread about concrete dust in pool water - Wondering about toxic effects of cement dust in pool

One point made there is concrete is very alkaline so keep an eye on your pH.

I don’t think floc is the answer. Turn off the pump and let the dust settle to the bottom. Then use your pool cleaner to suck it up. It may take a few cycles to get it all.

If all else fails you can get a 1 micron filter bag from somewhere like Duda Diesel and hook it to a return then manually vacuum the dust up and let it pump it into the bag to catch it. You'll have to block off the other returns if you have more than one.
