Removing a booster pump from pool system

Hello,
I upgrades to a robotic cleaner and want to remove the booster pump from the plumbing system. I have enclosed a photo. Do I just block both ends or do I plumb a line from the outlet to the inlet with the pump removed?

Ben,

You can do either one.. You can just cap them both off, or you can make it be another pool return by plumbing from the input to the output.

Unless you are short on pool returns, I would just cap it off.
