Remington ionizer vs PoolRX

:laughblue: Oh my goodness- stay far, far away from PoolRx.

Ionizer is a big waste of money in an outdoor residential pool. Big ones (unlike the little one they'll sell you) are used in professional indoor pools because they don't have the sun there helping burn off contaminates. I reckon you've got a bit of sun, eh? Don't waste your money.

Best thing you could do is get a Salt Water Chlorine Generator (SWG) for the ease of making its own constant chlorine.

David,

This website is dedicated to the use of Chlorine as the only proper sanitizer for swimming pools.. We really don't have many good things to say about using "magic" to keep your pool algae free.

If you were using chlorine before, and kept getting algae, you were just not doing it right..

You should take a good read through our Pool School and see what we are all about.

Thanks,

Jim R.
