I was not sure a bucket vs pool would be accurate only because of the difference in surface area. But I will try next weekend.Best way to know is to do a bucket test and measure the difference in water loss. If it’s purely evaporation then the difference inside the bucket verses outside will be barely measurable (1/16” or less). Anything more than that and you might have a leak. Try to be really precise with the bucket test.

That is regular evaporation due to the hot days but cool nights and warm pool water.
