I’m wondering if this is regular evaporation or do I have a problem ?

There has been zero rain and it’s been record breaking hot the last few days have been 94F and higher. Resized_20230907_162035.jpegIMG_9417.jpeg

Best way to know is to do a bucket test and measure the difference in water loss. If it’s purely evaporation then the difference inside the bucket verses outside will be barely measurable (1/16” or less). Anything more than that and you might have a leak. Try to be really precise with the bucket test.

What temperature is the pool water?

You running a heater to heat the pool?

That is regular evaporation due to the hot days but cool nights and warm pool water.

I was not sure a bucket vs pool would be accurate only because of the difference in surface area. But I will try next weekend.

Pool water is approx 75 degrees

I did run the pool heater last weekend but it’s been off since Saturday the day before pic was taken.

I sure hope your right about evaporation-thanks

My pool is in the 80's and I started seeing evaporation this month as the night has been cooler.

Surface area doesn’t matter. The bucket is in the pool. Follow the process in this link -
