Recommendations for Waterfall w/ LED and iAquaLink Compatibility

Hi - I am replacing a broken 48" waterfall and am looking for recommendations. I have a newer (2024) iAqualink system, and I have existing LED wires and an associated transformer for my old water feature. The 'chimney stack' and all plumbing will be broken down and rebuilt (ughhhh), so I will have access to all new plumbing and whatever other electrical I would need to run.

I'm looking at the C-M-P Brilliant Wonders LED waterfall product and think this will work for my application. I have grey stone veneer, and would like something to match if available (i.e. grey plastic). I have heard to stay away from stainless since I'm running a salt water pool.

Now I just need help with 1) ensuring this product is compatible with my iAqualink or existing electronics and the iAqualink App (I can currently control my pool light but not my waterfall light with the app), and 2) what actual part number(s) to order. I believe I need a Smart Sync controller (J-type), but the CMP website is not the most user friendly. I'm not sure if I need alternate LED wiring or any Colorwheel hardware.

Based on this website: Brilliant Wonders® LED Waterfall - CMP I believe I am looking at product 25677-431-000 (48" LED Waterfall; Back Port; Gray).

Thank you for pointing me to any product guides or products to consider. Thanks for any other recommendations.

First of all it depends what light type is set in your Aqualink and what model lights you have.

CMP is now owned by Jandys parent Fluidra so the J type Smart Synch controller should work if you have other Jandy colored lights. But as you can see above Jandy has two light type selections.

Another option is to put a separate light beaming 90 degrees into the water stream. That way when the light fails it is replaceable separate from the waterfall.

I have that exact screen that you show above on my iAqualink web browser... Not sure what that means, but I do have all of those options. CLicking the Jandy LED WaterColors, I see this...

My #1 Light is linked to my pool light. Now that I think about this - my pool light is a color-changing LED, where I can control the color from my app.

None of the other lights are configured. Not even the existing waterfall LED --- that light is currently triggered by an external remote (not Jandy branded).
