What is the TA of your fill water?

With high TA, high CYA, and a pool under 7k gallons, I would be tempted to change out half the water to lower the CYA. Then you can SLAM to get rid of that "little brown film". Hopefully it is a quick SLAM.

As far as you TA and CH, nothing to act on. The TA will fall over time as you keep the pH in the 7's. You have a vinyl liner, so low CH is of no concern.

As JJ stated, if you are seeing dead algae (that little brown film), you should SLAM. You can do it at your current CYA if you like. Follow the SLAM Process
