Recommendations for a timer

I currently have a single speed pump, but hope to upgrade to a dual speed in the next year or two. My timer (Intermatic) hasn't worked since we moved into the house. The clock doesn't turn at all

Up to now, I've manually turned the pump on and off.

Given that I am looking to upgrade the pump eventually, I do not want to purchase a timer that will not work with a new pump.

Suggestions? (it's 240V)

I had that too, dead intermatic timer when I bought the place.

I'd just get another intermatic.

2 speed pump motors use a separate switch to determine
speed, so the same timer you have should work just fine.

Took the timer apart... the clock mechanism quit working. So... I tore it apart. Seems that I could fix it if I could find a specific gear inside, but I can't find spare parts.

So... I think I'm gonna buy a new one... with a thermostat that makes it run near freezing temps. Suggestions?

Yup... that's what is broken. Price is around $30. The case for the timer is also broken... another $20-30. So, might as well replace it rather than spend 75% of the cost of new on parts, I should buy new. And if I'm buying new, I'd like to upgrade to one with a thermostat
