My ultratemp didnt affect flow and similar to OP, on the off chance it blew, i could have had an emergency bypass made up in minutes.why are you not adding a heater bypass while you are going the work
I actually removed it. Never used it. Super easy to add back in if I need one.Not to throw a wrench in the works, why are you not adding a heater bypass while you are going the work?

I wouldn't spend the $150. With simple plumbing my HP and SWG ran near 1000 RPMs and the SWG was 90d directly to the heater output. I forget now and it very well may have been in the 3 digits.I'm planning on extending my slab in the near future. I can add it back into the loop then.
